Wild Goose Gourmets brings together the many ways I cook and create — from quiet retreat meals to wild feasts and spice-filled celebrations.

This is food shaped by a lifetime of gathering flavours: childhood blackberry picking, allotment afternoons, travelling, raising a family, and cooking for retreats across Cornwall.
It grew into feasts because feeding people is joyful — an invitation to gather around something generous and alive.
It grew into retreats because we all need spaces where food slows us down, holds us, and nurtures us.

Everything here is seasonal, flavourful, and threaded with the land — a herb, a leaf, a flower, something wild in the mix.

The Wild

Almost 20 years ago I began cooking with wild food — foraging, teaching, supplying Cornwall’s chefs, and sharing flavours gathered from the hedgerow and shoreline. That journey included Foodswild and an appearance on The Hairy Bikers, bringing wild produce and seasonal dishes into kitchens across Cornwall.

That knowledge still threads through everything I cook today: gut-kind ingredients, vibrant colours, and dishes shaped by whatever the season offers.

Menus inspired by what grows close to home, and shared with those who want to learn, taste, and explore.
